Going offroad

March 10, 2013

A friend and I grabbed some lunch downtown yesterday. As you may already know, I’m a little choosy about where I park, so I climbed a few levels of the parking garage to avoid the crowds. That’s where i found this rugged Xterra.

Sure, this is a fully capable offroad vehicle. It can handle any curb with ease, but what exactly does one prove by parking on a curb? This park job just screams “I’m a douche!” I guess there is a silver lining though – at least this pig parker isn’t causing any issues for the person that parks next to him or her.

Maybe Bo Duke could get in

February 23, 2013

This is easily my favorite (or the worst if you prefer) pig park of all time. I had the pleasure of watching this one unfold as I grabbed some takeout for lunch earlier this week. An elderly woman floated up in the Cadillac as if the Acura wasn’t even parked in the space next to her. I’m convinced she would have hit it if she felt she needed more room on her driver’s side.

So now that you’ve seen the picture, do you think Bo Duke would be able to get through the driver’s side window of the Acura?

I’m piggin’ it

February 23, 2013

I saw this buffoon while going through the McDonalds drive-thru last weekend. Was it really necessary to take 2 spots?

The piggy in black

February 22, 2013

I’m a fan of the new Dodge Charger, and this guy’s (or girl’s) is looking pretty good. I appreciate wanting to protect your new ride by strategically parking while visiting the grocery store, but this seems really unnecessary for an empty parking lot early on a Saturday morning.

PigSmart

January 24, 2013

I had some time to kill last night before dinner, so I decided to pick up some cat food at PetSmart. On my way in I couldn’t help but see this monstrosity. I’m not really sure what’s worse, the pig park or the capped rear end of this Toyota Tundra.

I am piggy, hear me roar!

January 5, 2013

So I stopped at the local Food Lion this morning and saw this gem of a pig park in the way out. As you might imagine, the grocery store parking lot was quite empty early in a Saturday morning. For some reason though, this motorist felt the need to take up 2 spots.

Two little piggies

I saw this wonderful pair of pig parkers while out to lunch today!

Every day I’m pig parkin’

December 13, 2012

This guy (or gal) parks towards the back of the parking lot at work every day. There’s nothing wrong with that. I do the same thing. I back into the same safe spot in the back of the lot every day. This red BMW driver backs into the same two spots every day.

Am I gonna fit?

November 22, 2012

I saw this gem while shopping. Though the owner of this Fit did not cross any painted lines, I think it still qualifies as a pig parker, because i like to think there is an invisible line at the back of a parking space. For those wondering, I did see the owner drive away, and it was an elderly woman. She only had to back up about a foot to get out of the space!

Don’t pig where you sleep

November 22, 2012

You know the saying “don’t shit where you eat”? Well, there’s a lesser known, equally valuable saying that reads “don’t pig (park) where you sleep”. This shot was taken outside of my condo. I wonder how the person in the RAV4 got into their car the next morning?
